Garden Photography
Photography for Hospitality/Wedding Events
The Garden will be made available for photo opportunities at no charge with the rental of the Events Garden. Photography sessions prior to or after a planned must be scheduled in advance (see below).
Photography for Non Hospitality Events
If you would like to have professional photographs made in the Garden without a facility rental, please complete the session application below.
Session Rates:
Small Group Photography Fee - $25
Includes a 30 minute session and admission for up to four plus photographer
Professional Photography Session Fee - $50
Includes a two-hour session and admission for up to eight plus photographer
Commercial/Advertising Photography Fee - $150
Includes a three-hour session and admission for up to eight plus photography crew.
Policies
We welcome everyone to enjoy the Garden and the many photographic opportunities that it offers. We ask that all photographers and clients be courteous to other visitors and abide by these policies to help us protect the Garden and keep it looking its best for others to enjoy.
Reservations are made in advance using the application below and are required for every photography session. Showing up without reservations may result in refusal due to previously scheduled events or photo sessions. Please use the calendar below to confirm that your preferred date and time is available.
Changing rooms are not available. Please arrive dressed for your photo shoot. We do have restrooms available, located behind the visitor center.
Please be careful where you walk and stand when off of the pathways and avoid any setups that could cause damage the garden. The streams are very sensitive and should only be crossed at the bridges. Likewise, the pools and their borders are equally sensitive and should not be walked in or around.
You may get a rain check for inclement weather. If you have paid for a session and get rained out you may use the balance of your time another day. Please report your departure to the Admissions Desk and reschedule at that time or later using the application form.
The use of drones for photography is restricted. Contact info@hopebotanicalgarden.org for more information.
Application Process
Complete the online application and request a date and time within our business hours. You may pay now, after submitting the application or at the Garden. The application will redirect you to the payment page when submitted. If you prefer not to pay now, simply close the browser after submitting.
We will review your application and confirm that we have no conflicts, in which case you will receive a confirmation email. If you have paid in advance, this confirmation email will indicate that the session has already been paid. Please bring a copy of this email with you to the garden.
Rain Checks
I your session is canceled for any reason you can reschedule for another time. If you are rescheduling before the date of the session you can use the reschedule link in your confirmation email. If it is on the date or after, simply book a new session for the date and time that you would like and choose Reschedule (Rain Check) as the type and simply skip the payment section. You will receive a new confirmation by email when the makeup session has been confirmed.
Refunds
An unused session can be refunded at any time. If you know that you will not be able to use a previously paid session let us know the date and time of the unused session by email and we will promptly refund your payment.
